So you’ve just purchased your very own Smart Shed! What’s next? A scheduler will reach out to you by phone to schedule delivery with 1-5 days (on lot inventory) or 2-4 weeks (custom builds). In the meantime, we recommend purchasing some concrete blocks that will be used to give your shed a strong, stable foundation. Not sure how many block to get? Call 706-413-2391 to get an estimated number of blocks. You should also ensure that there is a clear path from the street to the desired shed location. This path should be free from obstacles and generally at least 2′ wider than the shed itself. Don’t forget to look up! Most buildings are about 12′ tall at the peak. Check for wires, low hanging tree branches etc. Please have any privacy fences removed following the same guidelines if a gate with sufficient width is not present. We can not lift buildings over fences.

Upon arrival of your shed, the delivery driver will park the delivery truck in the street or the nearest safe, available unloading area. They will then unload the shed, place one end on dolly wheels, and use a machine called a Mule to pull the shed through the yard into the desired location. The delivery driver will then use the block you have supplied as well as treated wood shims supplied by us to level your shed for use. We can level the shed up to 24″ above the ground using your block, if a shed must be placed higher than 24″ above the ground at the highest point, an additional fee will apply.

Upon setup completion, the driver will ask you to inspect the shed and verify you are satisfied with it before signing for delivery and paying the balance when applicable.

All new Smart Sheds are covered by a 5 year workmanship warranty. We are not responsible for settling of concrete blocks, but are happy to come out, and for a fee, re-level sheds that have settled.

Delivery is free up to 50 miles from the dealer from which you purchased the shed (on lot inventory) or within 50 miles of any Smart Shed dealer (custom builds).
